Calistiana.com: Saint Raphael the Archangel Chaplet

Saint Raphael the Archangel Chaplet

Saint Raphael the Archangel Chaplet

This ethereal chaplet pairs 6mm Russian Seraphinite with rustic Bali Silver. Seraphinite takes it's name from the the Latin word seraphin, referring to the first order of angels. This is due to the silvery wing like patterns formed by Mica contained in the stone. Features a hand engraved Sterling silver Raphael and Tobias medal. Saint Raphael is the patron saint of sick people, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, single people and travelers.    $60

Saint Raphael is traditionally named as the angel that stirred the waters at the healing pool of Bethesda (John5:1-4). Raphael also healed a blind man, helped Tobiah safely enter marriage and drove out an evil spirit in the deutero-canonical book of Tobit. It is no wonder then that Saint Raphael is an eminent intercessor.

How to pray the Chaplet of Saint Raphael the Archangel

On the medal, pray the following words:

"You are Raphael the Healer,
You are Raphael the Guide,
You are Raphael the Companion
Ever at human sorrow's aide."

On each of the 3 small beads, say the Hail Mary to Mary, the Queen of angels.

On each of the 9 following beads, in honor of the 9 angelic choirs, one in honor of each choir, (Angels, Archangels, Thrones, Dominations, Virtues, Principalities, Powers, Cherubim and Seraphim) say the following prayer:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of Hosts.
Heaven and earth are full of your Glory!
Glory be to the Father:
Glory be to the Holy Spirit!

Conclude the Chaplet with the following prayer:

"Saint Raphael,
angel of health,
of love,
of joy
and light,
pray for us."

Prayers of the Chaplet:

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace! the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of they womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
